Nine died, one injured in Tragic Panjgur accident

PANJGUR: At least 9 people were killed and one person was seriously injured in a tragic traffic accident that took place in the Gumazi area of ​​Panjgur district of Balochistan.

The incident occurred when a jeep, a bus, and a motorcycle collided in the Pangur district.

As soon as the information was received, rescue teams reached the scene, and the dead and injured were shifted to the Teaching Hospital Panjgur.

According to Masrur Ahmed, head of the Panjgur Medical Emergency, the deceased included 2 people riding the jeep, 6 passengers of the bus, and a person riding a motorcycle, while a person riding a motorcycle was injured and is being provided immediate medical assistance. The process of identifying the dead and injured is underway.

Police say that according to initial investigations, high speed was the main reason for the accident.

After the collision, a fire broke out in the bus and the jeep, which was extinguished by the fire brigade staff after much struggle. Rescue personnel cleared the road with the help of citizens and restored traffic.
