ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Barrister Barrister Gohar has issued a show cause notice to Member of National Assembly Iqbal Afridi, declaring him guilty of serious violation of party discipline.

The notice, signed by Barrister Barrister Gohar, states that Iqbal Afridi has consistently behaved inappropriately and insultingly towards the party’s members of the National Assembly, several incidents of which were recorded on camera and later broadcast on TV channels and social media.

The notice further alleged that Iqbal Afridi was also involved in planning the attack on party members outside Adiala Jail on June 23, 2026.

The party leadership maintains that one of their associates attacked several members of the National Assembly, while Iqbal Afridi himself was directly involved in the incident.

Barrister Gohar said that such actions are not only a violation of party discipline but have also damaged the reputation, unity and solidarity of the PTI at the public level.
