ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Courts Islamabad declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Omar Ayub Khan a proclaimed offender in the November 26 protest case.
Judicial Magistrate Shaista Kundi heard the case, during which the court also issued a permanent arrest warrant for Omar Ayub.
According to the court order, the accused did not appear in court despite repeated summons, on which the action of declaring him absconder was taken.
According to the police, a case has been registered against Omar Ayub at the Secretariat Police Station under Section 144 and other provisions.
