ABBOTABAD: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz, Military, has said that I assure the nation that God willing, we will not allow even an inch of this sacred land to be handed over to the enemy.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that, like a victory in the traditional field, every state proxy of our neighbor will be reduced to dust.

He added that we will never bow down before a handful of misguided terrorists who misinterpret Islam.

Addressing the passing out parade of the Pakistan Military Academy, he said that it is a great honor and a source of pride for me to inspect the passing out parade of the Pakistan Military Academy.

I also congratulate the cadets from Bangladesh, Iraq, Mali, Maldives, Nigeria, Nepal, Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka, and Yemen on completing their training from this great institution.

He said that since the establishment of Pakistan, the Pakistani Armed Forces, with the full support of the nation, have left no stone unturned in the external and internal defense of the dear homeland.

In the recent operation “Maarka-e-Haq/Banyan Marsus”, the Pakistani Armed Forces have further strengthened the confidence of the nation by defeating the enemy with their professional skills and determination.

The Field Marshal said that in a highly professional manner, Rafale jets were shot down against the eternal enemy, several enemy bases, including S-400 systems, were targeted, and Pakistan also demonstrated its multi-domain warfare capabilities.

Asim Munir said that with the grace of Allah and national determination, we united as a nation and fought the enemy like a steel wall. Pakistan has once again achieved success against an enemy that was obsessed with its misleading supremacy.

He said that India hastily made accusations and avoided impartial investigations. India’s self-made evidence is a sign that the Indian ruling party has politicized terrorism for its nefarious purposes.

He said that Pakistan, thanks to its clear victory against a numerically larger enemy, has not only gained the respect and admiration of the Pakistani people but also of the international community. The confidence among the youth has also been strengthened that Pakistan’s armed forces are a fundamental pillar of national strength.

Field Marshal said that I assure the nation that God willing, we will not allow even an inch of this sacred land to be handed over to the enemy.

I salute the courage of the Pakistani people with great pride. I pay tribute to every soldier, sailor, air force personnel, brave men, women, children, and elders who sacrificed their lives in these difficult circumstances.

Trtibute to the Armed Forces

Syed Asim Munir said that I also pay tribute to those Ghazis who fought this war to defend the motherland. The national leadership, bureaucracy, scholars, scientists, media, and people belonging to the education sector deserve tribute.

The Army Chief said that we are extremely grateful and indebted to the martyrs and their families, thanks to whose sacrifices we are living a life of freedom today, you are the heirs of the martyrs, make your life worthy of their memory.

He said that you should be proud that you are going to be a part of a great and dignified army of the world, which is no less than anyone.

Remember, our enemies are bent on creating a rift between our people and the armed forces for their nefarious purposes.

The Field Marshal said that Pakistan’s defense doctrine is based on credible deterrence and constant readiness, which covers all capabilities.

This professional army, tested in the sub-conventional battlefield for two decades, has proved its capabilities in the conventional field by giving a befitting reply to the enemy.

If aggression is attempted again, Pakistan will respond much more severely than the enemy expects.

He said that in war, our weapons will reach far and prove more damaging, destroying the fabricated concept of security of India’s geographical expansion.

The military and economic losses inflicted on the enemy will be far greater than India’s expectations. I advise and strongly warn the Indian military leadership that there is ‘no room for war’ between the two countries in a nuclear environment.

Resolve the fundamental issues with Pakistan on the basis of equality and mutual respect in accordance with international principles.

He said that we will never be intimidated by your rhetoric and will give a decisive response to any kind of small provocation.

The responsibility for the upcoming tension, which can ultimately lead to disastrous consequences for the entire region and beyond, will fall entirely on India.

The world is witnessing a clear change in the motivations, such as the use of violence to achieve political objectives.

The General said that Pakistan has successfully emerged as a net regional stabilizer in the region. Our relations with global powers, especially Muslim countries, have further strengthened.

Pakistan has consistently proven to play a key role in peace and stability in the region and beyond. Our armed forces participate in large numbers in UN peacekeeping missions around the world.

Defense agreement with Saudi Arabia

The Army Chief said that the recent strategic mutual defense agreement with Saudi Arabia strengthens and formalizes Pakistan-Saudi brotherhood.

This agreement is a step towards ensuring peace and stability in the Middle East and South Asia, it is a unique honor for the people and armed forces of Pakistan to be able to offer their services for the defense of the Two Holy Mosques.

Our relations with China are developing rapidly. Most importantly, we are proud of our historic and strategic cooperative partnership and friendship with China.

The reactivation of the strong and growing relationship with the United States is an encouraging and welcome development.

He said that President Trump’s personal efforts and strategic leadership in establishing peace in many conflict-ridden areas of the world are truly commendable.

We will further develop these relations with key global and regional leaders in the interest of peace, security and development.

After the failure of its aggression against Pakistan in Operation Battle for Haq, India continues to pursue state-sponsored terrorism as a priority policy.

Hired Guns

The Field Marshal said that our enemy’s use of Fitna-ul-Hind and Fitna-ul-Kharij as “hired guns” exposes its cowardly, hypocritical, and hideous face to the world.

The use of Afghan soil for terrorism in Pakistan is equally disturbing. We urge the people of Afghanistan to choose mutual security instead of perpetual violence and make progress on hard-line prejudice.

Syed Asim Munir said that the Taliban regime should rein in the proxies that have sanctuaries in Afghanistan. These proxies use Afghan soil to carry out heinous attacks inside Pakistan.

The law enforcement agencies and the armed forces, with the cooperation of the brave people of Pakistan, especially the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, will surely defeat this scourge.

Rest assured that just like in the traditional battlefield, every state proxy of our neighbor will be crushed to dust. We will never bow down before a handful of misguided terrorists who misinterpret Islam.

Pakistan steadfast in its principled stand on Kashmir

The army chief said that the ongoing terrorism, oppression, and atrocities under the auspices of the Indian state in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir should also end.

How long will the Kashmiri people continue to be oppressed and deprived of their right to self-determination? Pakistan is steadfast in its principled stand on Kashmir.

The army chief said that Pakistan will continue to provide political, diplomatic, and moral support to the legitimate freedom struggle of the Kashmiris until this internationally recognized conflict is resolved in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

Pakistan supports the two-state solution

The world has finally taken notice of the Israeli aggression, genocide, and forced displacement of the Palestinians. Thousands of innocent Palestinian citizens, including women, children, and the elderly, have been martyred due to this war.

He said that Pakistan’s continuous efforts in the diplomatic field have played a significant role in advancing the recent peace initiative in Gaza.

We hope that this will bring lasting peace and stability to the region. Pakistan expects that the ceasefire will continue, after which the humanitarian aid and reconstruction process in Gaza will continue.

It is expected that the Palestinian people will be able to live in peace in their homeland.

The Army Chief said that for a just resolution of the conflict, Pakistan stands by its principled position on the inevitability of a two-state solution and the need for an independent, sovereign and viable state of Palestine based on the pre-1967 borders with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

Diplomatic, economic, and military successes and capabilities will take Pakistan, God willing, to greater heights of development.

Remember that our journey is not yet complete; the enemy is still restless, but our resolve and courage are as strong and steadfast as ever.

The Field Marshal said that we, the people in uniform, are always ready and will remain ready for the development and prosperity of the people and state of Pakistan and the defense of the ideological and geographical borders of this great country.

The Army Chief said that the focus should be on making professionalism, discipline, and moral leadership the hallmark of your personality.

Unfortunately, in the Post-Truth Era, perceptions carry more weight than reality and half-truths spread faster than facts. Do not fall prey to sources of “information disorder” consisting of fake news and misinformation.

He said that the broader purpose of my message is an assurance that, “Considering the potential and growing position of Pakistan, we must face the challenges with courage and determination.

“It is our duty to take our country to its rightful destination, the flag of Pakistan will remain high, God willing, because its protectors, the Pakistani nation, never fail.”

Field Marshal said, “In conclusion, I once again congratulate all of you on receiving your commissions. May Allah Almighty be our supporter and helper.”
