ISLAMABAD: The annual Pakistan Day Parade will be held on March 23, Sunday on a limited scale due to the month of Ramadan, state-run Radio Pakistan reported.
As per the details, the parade will take place withing the premises of the President’s House in Islamabad with traditional enthusiasm. President Asif Ali Zardari will honor the parade as the chief guest.
Contingents from all three armed forces will actively participate in the Parade and will salute the chief guest of the ceremony.
Furthermore, the parade will feature a fly-past from the fighter jets of the Pakistan Air Force and a performance by the Pakistan Army’s renowned pipe and percussion band.
Foreign ambassadors and other distinguished guests have also been invited to the event.
