KAKUL: Pakistan rejects the baseless accusation made by the Indian government on the Pahalgam attack and ensures cooperation to an objective international investigation into the matter, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said while addressing the passing out parade of the 151st Long course on Saturday.

Our desire for peace should not be considered our weakness, as Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to protect the country, said the Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif

No one should misunderstand that Pakistan will protect its security and sovereignty at all costs. The prime minister said.

Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan, and the Kashmiri people must be given the right to self-determination, the prime Minister said while reaffirming Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir.

Water is our lifeline, and Pakistan will respond with full force following the violation of the Indus Water Treaty, he added.

In his speech, the prime minister emphasized that Pakistan has been the world’s greatest victim of terrorism, having lost almost 90,000 civilians to terrorist acts and suffered billions of dollars in economic losses.

Earlier, in his speech to the cadets, Sharif complimented the discipline and professionalism of Pakistan’s military forces, hailing them as among the finest in the world. “You are now the guardians of Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of faith, unity, and discipline,” he told the graduating cadets, adding that their commitment to the country will set an example of loyalty and devotion.

The ceremony, attended by federal ministers, foreign ambassadors, military officials, and other guests, exuded pride and solidarity. The occasion was attended by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, and Information Minister Atta Tarar.
