The spokesman said that initially e-gates will be installed at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore and Islamabad International Airport.

Passengers will scan their passports at e-gates, the PCCA maintained, adding that the facility aims to reduce waiting times and enhance the overall travel experience.

PCAA has invited bids from technology companies to install the advanced gates, with a deadline of August 13 for submission.
