PM Shehbaz takes political leadership in confidence amid Pakistan’s retaliation

ISLAMABAD: Following Pakistan’s retaliation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took the top political leadership of the country across party lines in confidence and briefed them about ongoing Sitaution, according to media reports.

The Political Leadership paid tribute to the armed forces for the successful conduct of ‘Operation Bunyan Marsoos’, stating that the Armed forces have the full support of the people of Pakistan.

Shehbaz Sharif held conversations with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Barrister Gohar Ali, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Khalid Maqbool, Hafiz Naeem, Khalid Magsi and Chaudhry Salik on telephone.

“Pakistan’s armed forces have given a strong and calculated reply to the Indian aggression. Today, we have avenged the blood of our innocent people”, the PM said in his conversation to politicians, adding that “We are proud of our armed forces”.

“Pakistan had suggested for neutral investigation after the Pahalgam incident, but India refuted Pakistan’s offer, Pakistan targeted those Indian military installations, which were used for attacks on Pakistan.” PM Sharif said.

“India again attacked the Noor Khan airbase and other sites with missiles this morning. Innocent, unarmed citizens were targeted in Indian attacks, our valiant armed forces have given a strong reply to the Indian actions,” PM Sharif added.
