ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Saudi Arabia would need thousands of skilled, trained workers, and that he would spare no effort to send Pakistani youth there for job opportunities.

According to the Prime Minister, speaking during the launch of the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme 2025 in Islamabad, while in Saudi Arabia, he was briefed about significant developments in artificial intelligence and modern technological advancements.

The Saudi Arabian authorities informed him that these facilities would be provided to millions of Pakistani citizens and students for free.

An agreement between Pakistani and Saudi officials took place not long ago, and they hope to have good news about this in the near future.

PM Shehbaz said, I am grateful to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his Vision 2030, which will see Saudi Arabia host a major exhibition in 2030 and the FIFA World Cup in 2034, which will also require a highly skilled and trained workforce of many.

He assured the audience that he would send thousands of Pakistani youth to Saudi Arabia to earn a living and build the country.

The Prime Minister thanked the students and teachers and explained that the laptop scheme, which was initiated in 2011, faced a delay this year due to an improper design of the logo.
