ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that efforts are being made to provide relief to the economically weaker sections as soon as possible, and will not leave the people alone in difficult times. Providing relief to the common man is the top priority of the government.
A meeting was chaired by PM Shehbaz Sharif, in which Federal Ministers Mosaddiq Malik, Attaullah Tarar, and Ali Pervaiz Malik also participated.
The meeting reviewed the reserves of petroleum products and the government’s public relief measures.
The Prime Minister said that relief money has been started for public transport and freight vehicles, and the relief money has been provided through digital wallets.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that under an effective and transparent system, digital transfer of subsidy has been started for public transport buses, and digital transfer of subsidy has also been started for goods transport trucks and freight vehicles.
The Prime Minister said that efforts are being made to provide relief to the economically weaker sections as soon as possible, and that the people will not be left alone in difficult times. Providing relief to the common man is the top priority of the government.
He said that the money saved from the government’s austerity and austerity measures will be spent on the people.
According to the statement, the meeting was informed about the progress in the implementation of public relief measures and was briefed that there are adequate reserves of petroleum products to meet the country’s needs.
