Pregnant woman murdered by in-laws in Daska, dead body dumped in drain

DASKA: A body wrapped in a sack was recovered from the Kotli Marla drain in the Motra police station area, here on Thursday.

According to the Rescue 1122 sources, a mother-in-law and her daughter had killed their 30-year-old, nine-month pregnant daughter-in-law over a domestic dispute.

The arrested mother and daughter revealed that the body was cut into different parts, put in two pieces and thrown into the drain.

As per the police, the deceased’s native village is Kot Mand, Gujranwala, whose husband Qadeer had gone abroad on business.

The police have taken possession of the body and shifted it to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem and started investigation. During this time, important sensational revelations are expected to come to light.
