LAHORE: The Punjab government has declared a public holiday in Lahore on April 12 for the annual ‘Mela Chiraghan’ (Urs of Shah Hussain) celebrations.
LAHORE: The Punjab government has declared a public holiday in Lahore on April 12 for the annual ‘Mela Chiraghan’ (Urs of Shah Hussain) celebrations.
According to a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (Welfare Wing) Punjab, there will be a public holiday in Lahore district on April 12, 2025 in connection with the annual Urs (Mela Chiraghan) of Hazrat Shah Hussain.
The notification clarified that this holiday will be applicable only within Lahore district and to subordinate offices located in Lahore.
It was further stated that this holiday will not be applicable to the Punjab Civil Secretariat, attached departments and regional offices.
