LAHORE: Following Indian Strikes in Pakistan, the Punjab government has cancelled all types of leaves for the employees across all government department, according to media reports.
The Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) has issued the directives that no employee will be permitted to go on with the leaves until further notice.

The official order has not cited the specific reason for the cancellation of leaves, but the decision has come inthe wake of the recent situation in the country.
Earlier, the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) in Punjab had postponed the intermediate part 2 exams and the class 10 practical tests.
The students have been notified of the development by the boards, including BISE Lahore. All of the tests that were supposed to take place on May 7 have been rescheduled, they stated, and new dates for the exams will be revealed later.
The Lahore board stated in the notification that all of the Theory Examinations and Practicals of the HSSC & SSC 1 Annual Examinations 2025, which were scheduled to take place on 07-05-2025 (TODAY), have been postponed with the consent of the Competent Authority. The revised schedule for these exams and practicals will be announced separately and in due course.
