ISLAMABAD: According to calculations, Ramadan will begin on February 18-20, subject to moon sighting in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and various parts of the world.

In Dubai and other UAE emirates, Ramazan 2026 is expected to start on Thursday, February 19.

The prediction is made by the Emirates Astronomy Society, which made its calculations from accurate observations.

Ramadan 2025 And Solar Month are Likely To Start On the Same Day For the First Time In 33 Years.

Emirati astronomers announced that the Ramazan new moon would be visible on Tuesday, February 17, at 4:01 PM, but it would set just a minute after sunset, rendering sighting impossible.

Therefore, the first fast would likely begin on February 19, subject to confirmation from the official moon-sighting committee.

Ramazan 2026 will come in early spring this year, with nice weather and nice temperatures possibly staying the same.

Periodic showers could also give a soothing and peaceful background to the holy month, and thus, this Ramazan will not only be spiritually enriching but also ecologically calming.
