Renowned actress Ayesha Khan found dead in Karachi flat

KARACHI: Senior TV actress Ayesha Khan passed away in Karachi as police found her week-old dead body in a flat in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area, according to media reports.

The body found in a residential flat in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of ​​Karachi is that of senior actress Ayesha Khan and is a week older, the police have confirmed.

She was living alone in the house. The residents of the area informed their relatives when a foul smell emanated from the house. The body of actress Ayesha Khan has been shifted from Jinnah Hospital to Sohrab Goth Edhi Mortuary.

It should be noted that on Thursday, senior actress Ayesha Khan’s friend, Tehmina Khalid, had confirmed Ayesha Khan’s death. She told the media that Ayesha Khan died in Karachi 5 days ago.

Actress Ayesha Khan was 77 years old. She acted in many successful dramas. Her famous dramas include Afshan, Aroosa, Family 93, and Mehndi.

Ayesha Khan had been away from dramas for the past several years. She was the elder sister of Khalida Ritasa.

In his condolences, Ahmed Shah, President of the Arts Council of Pakistan, described her death as a “great loss for Pakistan’s drama industry.” He emphasized her five-decade acting career, which has left a rich legacy on Pakistani television.
