OKARA: Police Punjab have registered a case against a rickshaw driver in Okara for playing a song by singer Naseebo Lal loudly in Okara.
According to the police, the driver violated the Sound Systems (Regulation) Act, 2015, by playing the song loudly in his rickshaw in a public place. The FIR mentions that the lyrics of the song were: “Meenu soti no jaga ke, tusi son laga ae, ki zlam kaman laga ae.”
The police have seized the sound system installed in the rickshaw as evidence during the operation.
