Sindh to distribute free solar panel on THIS date: Details inside

KARACHI: Sindh Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that the supply of free solar panels will be started from August, here on Wednesday.

As per the details, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, presiding over the meeting regarding the free solar supply project, also directed to speed up the steps to ensure the supply of solar panels to the needy by the end of August.

He added that we will soon start the process of distribution of solar panels in every division and district.

On this occasion, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that the Sindh government wants to provide relief to the people by providing cheap electricity.

He further said that the process of solarization is a means of providing cheap electricity to the people.

Sindh Energy Minister said that the expensive electricity has become beyond the purchasing power of the people and the people of the entire province are suffering due to expensive electricity bills.

Syed Nasir Hussain Shah directed that on the direction of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, the transparency of the project should be ensured.

He said that people will benefit from alternative sources of energy across Sindh.
