Terrorist ringleader among two militants killed in Peshawar IBO: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army killed two terrorists during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Hassan Khel area of ​​Peshawar, ISPR said on Friday.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), it has been said that two terrorists, including the ringleader, have been killed in an exchange of fire with the security forces on the night of May 30-31.

Those killed in the operation were identified as terrorist ringleaders Ayaz, alias Muhammad, and Ahmedey, alias Koochi, it said, adding that two others were injured.

Terrorists were involved in various attacks against security forces and killing of civilians.

Arms, ammunition and explosives have been recovered from the crime scene. Locals have applauded the operation, and the area is being cleared to ensure no more terrorists are present.

Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eradicate terrorism from the country.
