Three Excise Officials killed in firing incident on GT Road

NOWSHERA: Early on Sunday morning, a shocking incident took place in the Nowshera Taro Pabbi area when unidentified assailants opened fire on a vehicle carrying excise officials, killing three of them.

The shooting occurred on GT Road at approximately 2:00 AM. Two people died on the spot, while one died later at the hospital due to gunshot wounds. The assailants managed to escape right after the incident, and police have launched an investigation into arresting the suspects.

The police have registered a case against unidentified individuals and are gathering evidence and witness statements to assist in their investigation. The police have launched a massive manhunt, and all law enforcement agencies are committed to bringing the suspects to justice.

The deceased officials were honored and paid condolences, with funeral prayers conducted at Police Line Peshawar. A police contingent presented their honors to the deceased, putting flowers as a tribute to the brave and honorable sacrifice.

Senior police and excise officials and other colleagues honored the martyred officials. The event highlighted the tragedy of the incident and the effect it had on police officials and evidenced the ultimate sacrifices made by our law enforcement officials in their duty.
