PESHAWAR: A saddened tragedy surfaced in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Charsadda, where three men were killed on the spot by unidentified persons on Wednesday.
As per the reports, three people have been killed and two others injured as unknown assailants opened fire on them at the Charsadda motorway. Heavy contingents of district and highway police reached the spot.
While confirming the causalities, the police said that the incident seemed to be of a personal nature, whereas further investigation is underway.
The Charsadda police said that the deceased and their colleagues were attacked when they were crossing the Charsadda motorway.

The assailants managed to escape after the firing, while efforts were being made to arrest them, police added.
