LAHORE: Public transporters have announced a reduction in fares after the prices of petroleum products decreased.
The President of the All Pakistan Public Transport Owners Federation has announced a 15 percent reduction in public transport fares and said that the decision to reduce fares will be implemented immediately.
Earlier, the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced a reduction in petrol prices by Rs 74 across Pakistan. The new price of petrol is set at 373 to Rs 299, and the price of diesel per liter will come down from Rs 378 to Rs 311.
The announcement was made during Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif’s important statement regarding oil prices after the establishment of regional and global peace through Pakistan’s mediation
