DI KHAN: In Dera Ismail Khan, well-known contractor and tribal leader Haji Sabir Khan Bettani was shot dead by unknown assailants, here on Wednesday.
As per the details, the incident took place in Sheikh Yousaf area where unknown persons opened fire on Bettani, killing him on the spot.
The police reached the spot and shifted the body to the hospital for post-mortem.
The deceased Haji Sabir Khan Bettani belonged to the Bettani tribe of FR Tank.
The police have registered a case and started investigation to arrest the accused.
