UAE seeks collaborative partnership with Pakistan in THESE two sectors

ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has expressed keen interest in cooperation with Pakistan in the mining, minerals and agriculture sectors.

This interest was expressed by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday.

During the meeting, the two leaders expressed a shared commitment to deepen economic, political and cultural ties. They discussed a range of issues, including economic cooperation, regional stability, climate change and promoting mutual interests at the global level.

The UAE President reiterated his commitment to enhance his long-standing partnership with Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of people-to-people contacts and shared prosperity.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the manner in which Pakistan’s economy has stabilized and is moving in the right direction under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

In his remarks, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the UAE’s visionary leadership and its important role as a key partner for Pakistan in development and investment.

They stressed Pakistan’s readiness to enhance cooperation in areas such as renewable energy, technology, trade, infrastructure and skill development.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked the UAE for its unwavering support during difficult times, especially in humanitarian assistance and development assistance.

The two leaders reiterated their commitment to peace and development in the region and reaffirmed their commitment to work together on issues of mutual interest.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to promote broader cooperation, especially in priority areas, to ensure a bright future for both countries.
