ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Transport Authority extended the deadline for the emission test of vehicles and M-Tag installation by one week.

A seven-day ultimatum has been issued to the inter-city, inter-district, and inter-provincial transport operators to comply.

The authorities also warned that failure to complete emission testing and M-Tag installation within the deadline will result in the cancellation of the bus stand’s NOC.

ITA has issued orders to all bus terminals to send inspection reports and M-Tag reports daily. The officials have made it clear that strict legal action will be taken against violations.
