Watch: Man disguised as woman snatches mobile, video goes viral

PESHAWAR: A CCTV video from Peshawar showing a burqa-clad individual snatching a mobile phone from a student has gone viral on the internet.

In the footage, a burqa-wearing individual can be seen riding on a motorcycle with another individual. As they pass a student on the street, the burqa-clad passenger snatches the student’s phone. The student attempts to chase them, but the suspects flee the scene on the motorcycle.

In Peshawar, a viral video of a woman caught up in a street robbery has caught everyone’s attention. The video is a clip of an alleged woman stealing a mobile phone from a student.

During the act, a man is also seen driving the motorcycle with the woman. The clip has received broad attention on social media, where people have been speculating about whether the burqa-clad suspect was a man or a woman in disguise.

SPP Operations Peshawar confirmed police are analyzing the footage and investigating the possibility that the individual in the burqa is not a woman.

The authorities are attempting to track down the motorcycle and pick up both suspects who took part in the robbery.
