KARACHI: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced 200 Junior Executives (Data Entry Operators) jobs in different districts of Karachi and Sindh.
As per the details, the drive for recruitment will be held in five Karachi districts and nine other districts of Sindh, and walk-in interviews will commence on November 3, 2025.
To support the increased manpower, NADRA will also buy land in various districts to set up new regional offices.
The districts selected for new offices are Mirpurkhas, Mirpur Sakro, Kotri, Matiari, Chachro, Jhuddo, Mirpur Tharro, Tando Allahyar, Jamshoro, Thatta, and Sujawal.
The NADRA has established the eligibility criteria for candidates, including a minimum qualification of Intermediate level, while the upper age limit is 25 years.
The decision has been made in an effort to increase NADRA’s reach and access in semi-urban and rural areas, thus offering quicker and more convenient services to citizens while creating jobs for local youth.
Earlier, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) had waived the cost of canceling Overseas Pakistanis’ National Identity Cards (NICOP) in the event of the death of a cardholder.
The initiative is to simplify the procedure of registering deaths of Pakistani citizens, the authority declared in a statement.
According to the new directive of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the fee for cancellation of NICOP cards will no longer be imposed.
To make the process easier, relatives like parents, siblings (Alpha Family), wife/husband, or children (Beta Family) of the deceased can now get the NICOP terminated without any charge.
