RAWALPINDI: Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has been granted bail in the Toshakhana II case, but his release is unlikely due to his involvement in multiple other cases, according to sources.

Currently, Khan is on judicial remand in eight cases related to the May 9 incidents and has been granted bail in five of those cases.

Khan has also been nominated, along with other party leaders, in a case registered at the Taxila police station during the Sangjani rally. Although he has not been arrested in this case, his indictment, along with 125 other accused, in the GHQ attack case is scheduled for November 25.

Furthermore, the hearing of 13 cases related to the May 9 incidents is set for December 2 in the Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court.

The complex web of cases surrounding Khan has raised questions about his potential release. Despite being granted bail in some cases, his involvement in multiple other cases means that his release is unlikely shortly.

The ongoing legal proceedings against Khan are expected to continue, with several key hearings scheduled in the coming weeks.
