Pakistani actress and television host Fiza Ali has shared an emotional account of her life after divorce, revealing that she turned down several marriage proposals because potential families were unwilling to accept her daughter.
Speaking during a recent television appearance, Fiza said she never planned to stay single following her separation from former husband Fawad Farooq. She admitted that she seriously considered remarriage and was even engaged at one stage. However, every time things progressed, she felt something convinced her the relationship was not right.
According to the actress, the biggest issue arose when some families suggested that her daughter, Faral, should live with her biological father after the marriage. Fiza said she could never agree to such a condition.
She explained that her daughter has always been her top priority and that she would never sacrifice her child for any relationship. If someone could not accept Faral as part of the family, she believed there was no future in that marriage.
Fiza also revealed that she was completely honest with her current husband, Ejaz, about her past, including previous proposals and engagements. She praised him for understanding the importance of responsible parenting.
The actress emphasized that while marriages may end, parenthood does not. She shared that she maintained a respectful relationship with her former husband and even encouraged Faral to attend her father’s wedding, believing children should never suffer because of their parents’ separation.
Her heartfelt remarks resonated with viewers on social media, with many praising her maturity, co-parenting approach, and unwavering dedication to her daughter.
