Pakistani television actress Momina Iqbal has once again become the center of public discussion after her sister, Rimsha Iqbal, opened up about a deeply painful experience linked to their father’s passing.

During a recent podcast appearance, Rimsha recalled the difficult moments surrounding their father’s sudden death due to heart failure. She alleged that when Momina rushed him to the hospital, the medical staff became more focused on recognizing the actress than attending to the critically ill patient.

According to Rimsha, several doctors and hospital employees repeatedly asked whether the attendant was Momina Iqbal instead of immediately prioritizing emergency medical care. She claimed the family’s attention was diverted at a crucial moment because of Momina’s celebrity status, adding that the incident left them feeling deeply hurt and disappointed.

Rimsha suggested that the overwhelming attention directed at the actress contributed to what she described as medical negligence during one of the family’s most tragic days. The emotional account has since sparked discussion across social media, with many users expressing sympathy and debating the responsibilities of healthcare professionals when treating public figures and their families.

Momina Iqbal also addressed her sister’s remarks through a heartfelt message, saying that life in the public eye has brought unexpected hardships. She shared that her profession has often affected not only her but also those closest to her. Despite the painful memories, the actress said she continues to place her faith in Allah and believes that justice will ultimately prevail.
