LAHORE: The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) has lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against famous YouTuber and vlogger Saad-ur-Rehman aka Ducky bhai for overspeeding and dangerous stunts on Motorway, according to media reports.

The Video went viral on social media, sparking outrage among the people for endangering the lives of the other passengers on the motorway.

The spread of the video caught the attention of the authorities, leading the NHMP to register an FIR at Laksian Police Station in Sargodha under Section 279 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), which prohibits rash driving on motorways.

Ducky Bhai is shown in the video operating a vehicle at over 200 kilometers per hour as he pretends to be sleeping by keeping his foot on the steering wheel and closing his eyes.

The Motorway Police said that they had filed a complaint against Ducky Bhai for carelessness, dangerous driving, and speeding after receiving a lot of criticism.

“The video in question clearly shows a driver violating traffic rules and endangering not only his own life but also that of others,” an NHMP spokesperson stated in an official statement issued on Saturday. We are taking legal action because we have taken this breach seriously.

The spokesperson further stated that the FIR was invoking the relevant legal provisions and that the video had been geo-located and validated.

The NHMP has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining safety on the nation’s roadways and motorways and asked the public to report any such infractions via their hotline or social media accounts.

According to the spokeswoman, “no one is above the law.” “Popularity and influence do not grant people the right to disregard traffic laws or put lives in danger.”
