ISLAMABAD: Yahya Siddiqui, husband of Pakistan’s senior actress Shagufta Ejaz, passed away on Thursday due to prolonged illness.
Shagufta Ejaz shared the heartbreaking news by posting a picture of her late husband on her official Instagram account.
In her post, the actress announced that “My husband Yahya Siddiqui has passed away. Recite Surah Fateha for his forgiveness.
Fans and fellow showbiz personalities have expressed deep sorrow and condolence over the death of Yahya Siddiqui, husband of Shagufta Ejaz.
He was battling cancer for the past five years and was undergoing treatment at the Agha Khan Hospital Karachi.
The couple just celebrated their wedding anniversary while Yahya Siddiqui was in the hospital.
This was the second marriage of both Shagufta Ejaz and Yahya Siddiqui. The two had two children from previous marriages, and two daughters together.
