ISLAMABAD: Spotify’s Wrapped 2024 reveals Talha Anjum as the most-streamed local artist in Pakistan, surpassing Atif Aslam, who held the top spot for three years.
Anjum is joined by rising star Umair in second place and Atif Aslam in third. The top five also includes Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Talhah Yunus.
Internationally, Arijit Sindh remains the most-streamed artist in Pakistan, followed by Pritam, Karan Aujla, Shubh, and Sidhu Moose Wala. Anjum, Umair and Aslam also made the top 10.
Annural Khalid is named Pakitan’s top woman artist, and her song “Jhol” with Maanu, is the most-streamed local track. Other popular tracks include “Wishes” by Hasan Raheem, Umair and Talwiinder and “Tu Hai Kaha” by AUR.
Umair’s ROCKSTAR WITHOUT A GUITAR tops the album list, followed by Anjum’s Open Letter. The A.S.L.I playlist, focused on Pakistani hip-hop, saw an 80% increase in listeners.
