Aus vs Eng: England in trouble in third Ashes Test

ADELAIDE: The England team has faced difficulties in the third Test of the Ashes series.

In the match being played in Adelaide, the English team has scored 213 runs for 8 wickets by the end of the second day of play in response to Australia’s first innings of 371 runs.

Captain Ben Stokes is at the crease with 45, and Jofra Archer has 30 runs.

Harry Brook 45, Ben Duckett 29, Jamie Smith 22, Joe Root 19, Zac Crawley 9, Will Jacks 6, Ollie Pope 3 and Brydon Carse were out without scoring any runs.

Australian captain Pat Cummins, who played the first match of the series, dismissed 3 players, while Scott Boland and Nathan Lyon took 2 wickets each, and Cameron Green took one wicket.

Earlier, Australia scored 371 runs in their first innings thanks to a century by Alex Carey (106) and half-centuries by Usman Khawaja (82) and Mitchell Starc (54).

For England, Jofra Archer took 5 wickets, Brydon Carse and Will Jacks took 2 wickets each, while Josh Ting took one wicket.
