Bangladesh defeats India by 59 runs to win Under-19 Asia Cup title

DUBAI: Bangladesh won the Under-19 Asia Cup in Dubai by defeating India by 59 runs.

Batting first, Bangladesh scored 198 runs in 49.1 overs, with Razon Hossain top-scoring with 47 runs.

In reply, the Indian team was bundled out for 139 runs in 35.2 overs and defeated Bangladesh by 59 runs in the final.

Captain Mohammad Aman was the top scorer for India with 26 runs, while Bangladesh’s Iqbal Hossain and Azizul Haq took three wickets each.

It is worth noting that the Indian senior team also suffered a humiliating 10-wicket defeat at the hands of Australia in the Adelaide Test today.
