ISLAMABAD: Babar Azam has concluded his lengthy partnership with Gray Nicholls and has signed a new endorsement deal with CA Sports, a cricket equipment manufacturer based in Pakistan.

Sources have revealed that the former captain has inked a lucrative deal with the Pakistani brand that includes several incentive-laden clauses related to his performance.

Details of the mega deal

The news of Babar Azam switching his bat sponsor from England’s Gray Nicholls to CA Sports spread like wildfire on social media. This led to his signed piece selling out within minutes.

The change was good for the 30-year-old on the field as well as he scored two consecutive half-centuries in his two outings with the new willow.

Sources have revealed that Babar Azam’s bat sponsorship deal with CA Sports is worth an impressive Rs. 7 crore per annum.

According to inside information, the deal not only guarantees Babar a fixed annual payment but also includes significant performance-based bonuses.

For every 50 centuries, Babar will receive an additional compensation, which will encourage his already consistent performance.

While the exact bonus structure has not been disclosed yet, the arrangement highlights the confidence CA Sports has in backing its stars.

The Rs 7 crore annual figure makes it one of the most lucrative endorsement deals in Pakistan cricket, rivaling similar deals secured by global cricket superstars like Virat Kohli and Joe Root.

For Babar Azam, partnering with CA Sports is in line with his illustrious journey. As he continues to break records and lead Pakistan on the global stage, the deal is a sign of his growing influence that goes beyond the borders.
