ISLAMABAD: In the first match of the ODI series against India, everyone was surprised to see a ball bowled by Mitchell Starc at a speed of 176 km/h on the speedometer.

The first match of the ODI series between India and Australia is being played, in which India is batting against Australia.

Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc played a brilliant first spell of 5 overs against India, in which he took an important wicket by giving away 20 runs. Starc sent India’s star batsman Virat Kohli to the pavilion for zero.

However, the very first ball of Mitchell Starc’s spell, which he bowled to Rohit Sharma, was recorded at a speed of 176.5 km/h on the speedometer, which is the fastest ball in the history of ODI cricket so far.

Australian fast bowlers usually bowl at a speed of 140 kilometers per hour, but due to a technical error, the speedometer showed his ball at 176.5 kilometers per hour, which immediately went viral on social media.

It should be remembered that the record for the fastest ball in the history of cricket is held by Pakistan’s Shoaib Akhtar. Shoaib Akhtar bowled at a speed of 161.6 kilometers per hour, or 100.23 miles per hour, in a match against England in 2003. This record for the fastest ball by a Pakistani fast bowler still stands today, 22 years later.
