RAWALPINDI: New Zealand captain Michael Bracewell has won the toss and decided to bat first against Pakistan in the first T20I match of the five-match series at the Pinid Cricket Stadium.
Earlier, the toss between Pakistan and New Zealand was delayed due to a wet outfield of the stadium due to heavy downpour on Thursday.
The toss was scheduled for 7.00 pm (PST) with the match starting at 7.30 pm. However, after the inspection at 7:00 PM and 7:15 PM, the match officials announced that the coin would be flipped at 7:30 PM PST with the first ball set to be bowled at 08:00 PM.
