Pakistan defeats Japan to reach Junior Asia Hockey Cup final

TOKYO: Pakistan defeated Japan 4-2 in the semi-finals of the Junior Asia Hockey Cup to make it to the final.

According to the media report, the match took place in Muscat, Oman, where Pakistan’s junior hockey team remained undefeated until the semi-finals.

Captain Hanan Shahid scored two goals, while Sufyan Khan and Basharat Ali scored one goal each.

Hanan Shahid was adjudged the best player of the match for scoring two goals.

It is worth noting that the national team remained undefeated until the semi-finals throughout the Junior Asia Hockey Cup.

The second semi-final will be between India and Malaysia, the winner of which will face Pakistan in the final.
