SINGAPORE: In an electrifying performance, Pakistan’s rising Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) star, Shahzaib Rind from Balochistan, emerged victorious at the Karate Combat Championship (KC-49) in Singapore. The thrilling fight captivated the audience, earning Rind widespread acclaim.
Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Singapore, Ms. Rabia Shafiq, extended heartfelt congratulations to Rind, praising him for bringing pride to the nation. In a message on her X account, she expressed optimism for his continued success and urged Pakistanis to rally behind their champion.
This triumph adds to Rind’s impressive repertoire, having previously won the prestigious Karate Combat league in the United States.
A six-time national champion, Rind’s ambitions continue to soar. “Becoming a world champion, or at least being on the cusp of achieving it, is my ultimate goal,” he shared with Express Tribune earlier.
