LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has decided to offer special treatment for the labourers working day and night on the upgradation of Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium ahead of the Champions Trophy.
According to the local publication, Mohsin Naqvi will host a luncheon in honor of the workers to honor their dedication to the project.
Those who worked during the revamp of the iconic Gaddafi Stadium will be given lunch on February 7, where Naqvi will thank them for their day and night work.
The PCB chief also decided to invite the workers to the first Champions Trophy match in the Gaddafi Stadium, which will be played between Australia and England on February 22.
Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board shared details regarding the ongoing work at the stadium, stating that the major work at the venue has been completed and with finishing work to be completed in the coming days.
The PCB has already announced that the upcoming Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa tri-series will be played in Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and Karachi’s National Stadium.
