PSL 10: Lahore Qalandars crush Islamabad United by 88 runs

LAHORE: In the 19th match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, Lahore Qalandars defeated Islamabad United by 88 runs, here on Wednesday.

In the match played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Islamabad United won the toss and decided to field.

Batting first, Lahore Qalandars scored 209 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

For Lahore Qalandars, Fakhar Zaman scored 44, Sikandar Raza 39 and Daryl Mitchell scored 28 runs.

Apart from them, Muhammad Naeem scored 25 and Abdullah Shafiq scored 22 runs, Sam Billings remained unbeaten on 38 runs.

For Islamabad United, Imad Wasim and Jason Holder took two wickets each.

In response to the target of 210 runs, Islamabad United’s team was bowled out for 121 runs.

Islamabad United’s Andreas Goss (41), Salman Agha (36) and Shadab Khan (13) reached double figures.

For Lahore Qalandars, Haris Rauf took 4 wickets and Sikandar Raza took 3 wickets.

This is Islamabad United‘s first defeat in PSL 10.
