PSL 10: Peshawar Zalmi defeats Multan Sultans by 7 wickets

PESHAWAR: Peshawar Zalmi defeated Multan Sultans by 7 wickets in the 25th match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.

In the match played in Multan, Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bat against Peshawar Zalmi.

Multan Sultans’ batting line-up failed miserably and the entire team was dismissed for 108 runs in 19.1 overs.

Shai Hope scored 23 and Tayyab Tahir scored 22 runs for Multan Sultans.

Ahmed Daniyal took 3 wickets for Peshawar Zalmi, while Moaz Sadaqat and Lockwood took 2 wickets each.

Peshawar Zalmi achieved the target of 109 runs in 13 overs.

Saim Ayub scored 49 and Max Bryant scored 38 runs for Peshawar Zalmi.

Shahid Aziz took 2 wickets and David Valley took 1 wicket for Multan Sultans.

Talking about the PSL 10 points table, Quetta Gladiators are in first place with 11 points after playing 8 matches.

Islamabad United have also played 8 matches, and are in second place with 10 points.

The third position on the points table is occupied by Karachi Kings, who have won 5 of their 8 matches and have earned 10 points.

The fourth position is occupied by Lahore Qalandars, who have won 9 points after playing 9 matches, while Peshawar Zalmi is in fifth place with 8 points.

The last position on the table belongs to Multan Sultans, who are out of the race to win the trophy.
