PSL X: Karachi Kings secure 87 runs win against Multan Sultan

LAHORE: The losing streak of Multan Sultans continues as Karachi Kings secures a commanding 87-run victory over Multan Sultans in a one-sided PSL X clash on Thursday at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Batting first, the victorious side set the target of 205 runs with the powerful batting of James Vince scoring 65 not out.

The Kings’ Skipper David Warner contributes a quick (30 off 13) with another powerful cameo by Khushdil Shah scoring (33* off 13), and Tim Seifert also contributed a quickfire 22.

Multan Sultan, while chasing the total, got all out on just 117 in 16.1 overs, adding one more loss to their journey in the PSL X.

The Multan Sultan’s chasing was not good as the captain failed to score any run and got out on duck, while Yasir Khan and Kamran Ghulam made 26 and 29 respectively.

Mohammad Nabi starred with the ball for Karachi, taking 3 for 16, while Khushdil Shah and Mir Hamza picked up two wickets apiece.
