KARACHI: Pakistan Test Player Salman Mirza has sent a legal notice to a private channel journalist over the allegations made against him.
Salman Mirza, through his legal team, informed the private channel and its journalist on social media about sending a legal notice.
On March 5, a private channel journalist had accused Salman Mirza of harassing a female staff member at a hotel in Kandy during the T20 World Cup.
The journalist had claimed that the team management conducted a preliminary investigation into the complaint of the hotel management, after which the player was fined.
The PCB called the news misleading and demanded an immediate apology from the journalist. Salman Mirza also called the news ridiculous and announced legal action against the journalist.
