Saud Shakeel retained as Quetta Gladiators Captain for PSL 11

KARACHI: Quetta Gladiators team management has been announced for Pakiatan Super League  (PSL) season 11 retaining Saud Shakeel as team Captain.

Sarfaraz Ahmed remains as team director and Moin Khan as head coach.

Iqbal Imam has been appointed as assistant coach and Wahab Riaz as bowling coach.

Azam Khan will continue as Quetta Gladiators manager in the Pakistan Super League.

Earlier, Australian cricketer Marnus Labuschagne was appointed as the captain of the new franchise Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen for the Pakistan Super League season 11.

The franchise announced the appointment through its official social media accounts.

A 26-second video was also shared in this regard, which showed a private jet flying over Hyderabad and leaflets were dropped during the flight that read ‘Marnus Labuschagne has been appointed captain’.

Marnus Labuschagne joined the franchise through a direct signing, which was done before the PSL draft.

However, the financial details of the deal have not been disclosed yet. The Pakistan Super League season 11 will run from March 26 to May 3.

Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen will start their campaign against Lahore Qalandars in the first match, which will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on March 26.
