Terrorist attack on police post in Lakki Marwat foiled

The terrorist attack on the police checkpost in the Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was thwarted by the police in the wee hours of Thursday.

According to the reports, terrorists attacked the Manji Wala police post in the Lakki Marwat area late at night, but the swift response of the police foiled the militants’ plan.

According to the police, terrorists of the banned outfit escaped. The terrorists used automatic weapons and other heavy weapons in the attack but fortunately, no casualties were reported, police said.
