Punjab announces new school timings for summers 2024

The caretaker government of Punjab has announced new school timings for February 2024 as the conclusion of the severe winter season across Punjab.

Authorities have changed school timings after the return of pleasant weather conditions and the end of the harsh cold wave.

According to the latest update, boys’ schools in Lahore and other cities in Punjab will commence at 8:30 am and end at 2:30 pm. On the other hand, girls’ schools will start their classes from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm.

The Friday timings for boys’ schools are from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm, whereas girls’ schools conclude at 12 pm. Additionally, the caretaker Punjab government has also made changes in schools operating in double shifts.

Additionally, modifications were implemented by authorities in educational institutions that functioned in double schedules. The revised timetable shows the government’s intent to improve the educational atmosphere for younger students, who are currently on a month-long holiday.
