Islamabad weather forecast: Temperatures set to drop at night

ISLAMABAD: The citizens of the federal capital witnessed bright sunlight in the morning after which the weather remained pleasant in the city. However, the temperatures are set to drop again during the night with few chances of light to moderate rain providing cooler nights in the federal capital.

The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 24 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 14 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 40 to 46% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 14 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 1% today.

According to Met Office, the weather will remain dry in most parts of the country. However, in the evening/night, Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir will remain cloudy, besides rain at a few places in Islamabad, and light snowfall is expected over the high mountains. Most of the areas of Punjab are covered with smog, while some plain areas are likely to experience moderate to heavy fog during the night.
