Weather update: Hot, dry weather to prevail across country today

ISLAMABAD: The residents of Pakistan are set to experience hot and dry weather across the country today, on Sunday, with up to 5 percent of precipitation in the afternoon, increasing the temperatures nationwide.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and neighboring mountainous regions will remain somewhat cloudy, though. Some areas around the nation might also see rain accompanied by heavy winds and thunderstorm showers.

Most areas of Punjab will experience hot and dry conditions. Whereas, some areas will experience partly cloudy weather, including Murree, Galiyat, Jhelum, Chakwal, Sialkot, and Narowal.

Additionally, rainfall and thunderstorms are predicted at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, whereas other areas will probably remain dry.

Similarly, in Balochistan, hot and dry weather conditions will prevail across the province.
