A 5.22 magnitude earthquake was felt in Mexico, after which citizens in the affected areas panicked and came out of their homes and buildings.

According to the news agency, the earthquake tremors were felt in different areas, but there were no immediate reports of major casualties or property damage. Local authorities are assessing the situation and monitoring the affected areas is ongoing.

On the other hand, according to the German Research Center for Geological Sciences, the earthquake’s magnitude was recorded at 5.22, while its depth was 10 kilometers in the ground.

According to experts, earthquake tremors can be felt relatively strongly due to the shallow depth.
